Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference: the Influence of the Russian Federation on Public Opinion on the Eve of its Full-scale Invasion

Анотація

«Зовнішнє інформаційне маніпулювання та втручання (FIMI)» – це модель поведінки, яка загрожує або може негативно вплинути на цінності, процедури та політичні процеси. «Показовим прикладом» такої поведінки є деструктивна інформаційна діяльність РФ в Україні та світі. Напередодні інтервенції в Україну 24 лютого 2022 р. протягом 2021 р. РФ проводила потужну спецоперацію FIMI для просування іміджу своєї «надзвичайно сильної та непереможної армії». Ми стверджуємо, що метою її FIMI було залякати політичну еліту України та пересічних громадян, усунути будь-яке бажання боротися як практично «самогубне», спонукати керівництво держави й Президента, зокрема, до прийняття рішень на користь РФ. Оскільки українці надають велику перевагу різноманітним Telegram-каналам як швидкому джерелу «інсайдерської» інформації, у статті проаналізовано ключові повідомлення про армію РФ, опубліковані в державному російському (РИА Новости), низці проукраїнських та українських проросійських Telegram-каналах. Мета статті – довести, що публікації щодо іміджу російської армії були спецоперацією FIMI РФ.
