Heritage Diplomacy of UNESCO in Post-Conflict Zones: the Case of Iraq

Анотація

Після визволення частини Іраку з-під контролю ІДІЛ, міжнародні організації розпочали роботу з відновлення об'єктів матеріальної та нематеріальної спадщини у даному регіоні. Стаття аналізує досвід ЮНЕСКО, долученої до багатосторонньої культурної співпраці на території постконфліктного Іраку, у контексті дипломатії спадщини. Сам термін «дипломатія спадщини» є новим та має міждисциплінарну природу. Відтак, мета статті полягає у переосмисленні сутності та розуміння дипломатії спадщини, а також окреслені вимірів та інструментів дипломатії спадщини на прикладі ЮНЕСКО у постконфліктному регіоні. Результати дослідження дозволили детальніше розкрити поняття «дипломатія спадщини», а також проаналізувати практики ЮНЕСКО в контексті дипломатії спадщини на території Іраку та її впливів на міжкультурні відносини. Відтак, було концептуалізовано визначення дипломатії спадщини, а також окреслено поняття «осередкової спадщини» як особливої категорії спадщини у розрізі діяльності ЮНЕСКО.
