Сучасні підходи у вивченні дипломатії

Анотація

У статті розглядаються особливості сучасного теоретизування явища дипломатії. Автор розкриває поліморфний характер наявних наукових підходів до розуміння дипломатії й вказує на розширення чисельності сфер, охоплених дипломатичною діяльністю. Паралельне збільшення кількості акторів, які можуть діяти у міжнародних відносинах, реалізуючи представницькі функції, перетворює сучасну дипломатію на складне й багатоукладне явище. Тому, незважаючи на зростання інтересу у науковій літературі до вивчення феномена дипломатії, досі не вдалося сформувати її цілісної теорії. Автор вказує суперечливі аспекти трактування дипломатії у межах низки підходів науки про міжнародні відносини та дипломатичних студій і наголошує на потенціалі соціалконструктивістських інтерпретацій цього явища, поділяючи переконання низки дослідників про існування особливої ідентичності дипломатів. Актуальна трансформація дипломатичної діяльності, політизація й віртуалізація багатьох сфер суспільних взаємодій, у поєднанні зі стрімким залученням у міжнародні відносини великої кількості акторів, неминуче ставитиме перед дипломатією та дипломатами нові виклики. Водночас, сучасний стан міжнародних відносин – відродження стратегій розрахунку на власні сили та прагнення до реструктуризації міжнародної системи з боку окремих акторів, свідчать про високу ймовірність зміцнення класичних форм дипломатії з огляду на важливість дотримання узгоджених у міжнародному співтоваристві правил та норм. Тому дипломатія й надалі відповідатиме на потреби представництва державних акторів міжнародних відносин та зберігатиме власне вирішальне значення в контексті узгодження національних інтересів та забезпечення стабільності міжнародної системи.
