Особливості зовнішньополітичного лідерства Європейського Союзу у сфері запобігання змінам клімату

Станом на сьогодні ЄС вже встиг зарекомендувати себе кліматичним лідером як на регіональному, так і на глобальному рівнях, сформувавши великий масив нормативно-правових актів у сфері пом'якшення наслідків зміни клімату та адаптації до них, а також запустивши масштабний проєкт «Європейський зелений курс» і залучивши до його реалізації не лише повноправних членів, але й партнерські держави. Становленню ЄС як кліматичного лідера передували декілька етапів, визначення та аналіз яких – одна з цілей даної публікації. Для кращого розуміння феномену лідирування в міжнародних відносинах, а також ролі ЄС у формуванні глобальної екологічної політики у сфері запобігання змінам клімату у статті виконується низка завдань, як-от всебічно проаналізувати феномен та основні шляхи досягнення зовнішньополітичного лідерства, визначити сутність кліматичного лідерства ЄС тощо.
