Publishing malpractice policy
In cases of alleged or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication, or plagiarism, the publisher will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and amend the paper in question. This will be done in close collaboration with the editors. These measures include the prompt publication of an erratum or, in the most severe cases, a complete retraction of the affected work.
We explicitly do not support substantial overlap between publications or "self-plagiarism." The editor-in-chief may make exceptions if they believe the submitted paper can contribute to the academic discourse, there are no restrictions from other publishers, and proper reference to the source is provided.
We expect that papers submitted to us have not been simultaneously submitted to any other journal or book, except preprints.
Our editors follow COPE's Retraction Guidelines when considering the retraction or correction of a published paper.
We issue a corrigendum when an author makes an error. An erratum will be issued if the journal is found to have made an error. Retraction is not initiated for minor corrections such as language or spelling issues. Retraction commenced when the journal received information that an article's specific findings or conclusions are false or that the content has been plagiarized. Any related actions will be carried out in line with COPE's Retraction Guidelines.
If any suspicions of overlap between publications or "self-plagiarism" are raised, we expect our stakeholders to contact us via email at mhpi@chnu.edu.ua.
