Aims and scope

Modern Historical and Political Issues was established in 2001 by decree of Scientific Council of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The Journal is aimed at the development of education and science through scientific publications in the field of history, political science and international relations.

The Journal keeps readers up-to-date with concise, thoughtful reviews of key topics on all aspects of the History of Ukraine, World History, Political History, Political thoughts and ideas, Political practice, International Relations and Regional Studies. The Journal offers major works in the field of history, political science and international relations, book reviews presented by Ukrainian and foreign scientists.

The Journal addresses scientists’ role in society and the role of scientific knowledge in the modern world.

Articles are published in Ukrainian, English, German, Polish and Romanian.
