Культурне різноманіття: концептуальні підходи

Культурне різноманіття, як і біорізноманіття, є елементом спільної спадщини людства, захист якого є етичним імперативом, невід’ємним від поваги до гідності людської особи. Концепція культурного різноманіття дозволяє співіснувати безлічі різних культур, які не є, насправді, ізольованими, але взаємодіють і перетинаються у будь-який час.
В Конвенції ЮНЕСКО про охорону та заохочення розмаїття форм культурного самовираження 2005 року зазначено, що культурне різноманіття є визначальною рисою людства та стверджується, що культурне різноманіття є спільною спадщиною людства, необхідною для нього, як і біорізноманіття необхідне для природи. Кожен має право брати участь у культурному житті, мати доступ до надбань культури, має право на повагу до культурної ідентичності та ототожнення з культурною спільнотою, на культурне, релігійне та мовне різноманіття, вільно керувати культурною діяльністю і тощо.
У цьому дослідженні автор здійснив спробу проаналізувати та визначити поняття «культурне різноманіття», а також його основний компонент культури.
